Affordable and Accessible Services for All
Gracie is a Speech-Language Pathologist and Certified Autism Specialist infatuated with the confusing and largely unpredictable phenomenon known as communication.
What makes WST so "weird," you may ask? Firstly, communication is the very essence of what makes us human beings. Whether it's speaking, signing, gesturing, reading/writing, picture communication, creating art, or whatever modality works for us, I believe access to communication is a human right. That's why I offer accessible services through Medicare and private pay options at an affordable rate without the restrictions of an insurance company.
Secondly, I believe the more we focus on bringing our clients into what we consider “normal,” the more significant the disconnect. Instead, we engage them by meeting them where they are and celebrating their unique way of understanding the world and expressing themselves. In other words, we prefer to dig deep and reconnect with what makes us "weird" and lean into it it as our greatest tool for authentic human connection.
